THE MYSTERIOUS NIGHT

It was Saturday. Me, Aditya, Jatin, and Vikash were on a conference call, planning our trip to the forest tomorrow. Yes! we were going camping in a forest. I don't know about the other 3 dudes, but I was excited. After all, it was a spooky, haunted forest and the month of Halloween.

Sunday

7 in the morning and all of us were ready with our bags and some camping tools. We divided the things to carry among us the previous day. I had to carry food, Jatin got the tents, Vikash had the torches and some tools for our protection and Aditya got his music stuff for us.

The bus stopped in the middle of nowhere and the conductor said, "Bus won't go any further. You'll need to walk." We got more excited and continued our journey with our bags on the back.

Vikash noticed that no one was going toward the Jungle and we knew exactly why. The jungle was rumored haunted and that's what attracted us.

As we reached the forest, there was a signboard " Caution, Danger". The plan was to spend an entire night in the Jungle.

We got our tents laid and decided to have lunch as it was 2 PM and we last ate at 6 AM. We had a humourous conversation while feasting.

Just staying at our camps was boring so we decided to go deep into the jungle. Vikash took his stuff and we moved. In the middle of the jungle, we noticed a strange stair-like structure. Jatin tried getting on it but he crossed over the stairs. We had our mouths open and the very first thing we did was to run.

We reached our base camp and noticed our tents uprooted. Aditya noticed weird footprints and we decided to leave the jinxed forest.

It was 8 PM and we were on our way to leave. We encountered snakes and rats along the way but somehow managed to keep running. All of us were tired and then Aditya saw the signboard from the afternoon. Jatin felt safe and then we took a deep breath and called a local tribe for help.

They helped us get back to the bus stop. We returned to our homes and all of us were extremely exhausted. The trip was life-risking and scary, but that was something all of us enjoyed.
